 Knight Journey (2018) 

Knights Journey is an RPG I have developed by myself. This game features 8 directional combat with a complete saving system. This includes inventory, quests, the quest journal, enemy deaths and locations, along with any other critical information for the player. I also designed all of the quests, Npc interaction and dialogue options with the help of an open source node editor which i coded to suit the purpose of this game.

Features List:

- inventory + saving

- 3 character slots with their own unique saved data

 

- 8 directional combat + animation programming + blend trees

 

-quests with Autosaving, rewards, events, and notifications 

 

-quest journal that updates and saves with eahc step

 

-enemy drop table system

 

-item drops/dropped/picked up saving (including loot from enemies/npcs)

 

-location, health and critical info for enemies/player saved

 

-textbox for ingame events and interactions (Runescape inspired)

-enemy A.I, battle circle and wall avoidance implementation

 

-Complete saving system for 3 different characters.

 

-Tile Map/tiles/animated tiles workflow and level design

 

-Basic cutscenes/cinematics for quests

 

-Mood behaviours for certain npcs that force the player to wait a certain amount of time before being able to interact with them about
